The physical and chemical properties of KC series sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst, their using conditions and their application in 500 kt/a ammonia synthesis and 800 kt/a urea projects are introduced. The practical application shows that comprehensive performance of KC series catalyst such as strength stability, shift activity and activity stability, etc., is superior to domestic similar products. KC-103S presulfurization sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst can greatly shorten the start-up time, save start-up costs, and reduce the over-temperature risk of shift catalyst bed during start-up. The nitrogen protection is not requiement in the process of storage, transportation and loading of the catalyst, and the operation is more safe and convenient, avoiding resources waste and environmental pollution caused by the large amount of gas discharge during start-up.
