Through a petri dishe and a pot experiment, the effects of biochar combined with three compound fertilizers, which are made of monoammonium phosphate, nitrophosphate and ammonium polyphosphate as phosphorus sources respectively on the transformation of phosphorus forms in latosolic red soil and the utilization efficiency of phosphorus fertilizer in Chinese flowering cabbage are investigated. The results show that adding biochar to compound fertilizers containing monoammonium phosphate, nitrophosphate, and ammonium polyphosphate as phosphorus sources can improve the effectiveness of phosphorus in soil, and the contents of H2O-P and NaHCO3-P are all increased to varying degrees. The fresh and dry weight of the Chinese flowering cabbage is also increased to varying degrees. And the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer is improved. Adding biochar can improve the effectiveness of phosphorus in compound fertilizers in soil, which has a positive effect on reducing the fixation of phosphorus in soil, reducing the application of phosphate fertilizer and improving the seasonal utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer.
